Gloucester Leisure Centre
plays host to a
CULTURE CLUB

On Wednesday 7th December 1983 I went to the Gloucester Leisure Centre with a group of friends from the National Star Centre to see Culture Club.

This was a brilliant concert which was made all the better by the uncredited backing vocal tallants of HELEN TERRY.

Songs performed included, TIME (CLOCK OF THE HEART), DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME, CHURCH OF THE POISON MIND, THE DIVE, I'LL TUMBLE 4 YA, and KARMA CHAMELEON. They also performed the track VICTIMS which I thought they performed better live than on record.

Another track they performed brilliantly was a cover of MELTING POT which was origanally a hit for BLUE MINK.
